Midlands Adventurers Guild
The Midlands Adventurers Guild is a not-for-profit tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) society in the Midlands of Ireland, open for people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Tabletop roleplaying is, at its heart, a social activity, one built around cooperation, shared storytelling, and showing up for each other around a table.
At a time when third spaces (the social environments beyond home and work, e.g. libraries, community halls, clubrooms, where people gather informally and community life takes shape) are disappearing and face-to-face interaction is in decline, regular, structured gatherings like those the Midlands Adventurers Guild organises offer something genuinely valuable: a reason to leave the house, meet up with your community, and engage in a shared project.

Mission Statement
The projects, activities, and events of the Midlands Adventurers Guild are guided by our Mission Statement:
For Our Members
To provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where players and game organisers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels can connect. We strive to lower the barriers to entry by providing the resources and community structure necessary to ensure every member finds a seat at the table and a voice in the story. We are committed to fostering a space where social confidence can grow and where every adventurer belongs.
For Tabletop Roleplaying
To champion the hobby as a powerful medium for personal and social development. We celebrate the vast diversity of gaming systems, from epic fantasy to indie storytelling, and promote tabletop roleplaying games as a tool for developing creativity, empathy, and collaborative problem-solving.
For the Midlands
To build a vibrant and sustainable roleplaying subculture in the heart of Ireland that bridges the gap between rural and urban communities. By hosting public events and partnering with local venues, we aim to combat social isolation and foster intergenerational engagement. We aim to establish the Midlands as a region where tabletop gaming is celebrated, supported, and woven into local community life.
